Number donuts

Thirty Never Looked This Glazed

Number cakes had their moment. A “30” built from decorated donuts is easier to serve, impossible to cut wrong, and photographs like a small monument. Here’s how digit layouts work, what fits in each box, and how to order one.

  • ✓ Any age, one or two digits
  • ✓ Candles & topper add-on
  • ✓ Confirmed before you pay

How Many Donuts Make a Number?

A readable digit takes 8–12 donuts, depending on how curvy it is. (The 8 is greedy. The 1 is a bargain.)

LayoutDonuts neededOrder this
Single digit — a big “5” or “9”8–12Birthday Box (12) · $44
Two digits, cozy — “21”, “30”14–18Celebration Box (18) · $59
Two digits with presence — “40”, “65”20–24Office Box (24) · $79

Digit layouts are arranged for the reveal, then shared like any other box. Write the exact number in your order notes and we confirm the layout with the bakery before payment.

The Ages People Send Us Most

16First big one. Sprinkles fully justified.
21Legal everywhere. Donuts, still the responsible choice.
30The bestseller. “Dirty thirty” fits on the card with 188 characters to spare.
40Delivered to the office, this one gets a standing ovation.
50Golden sprinkles exist. We’re just saying.
60+Every decade after 60 deserves double frosting. House rule.

Finishing Touches for a Milestone

  • Candles + topper, $5. Adds the “Happy Birthday” topper and candles so the number can be blown out properly.
  • The card carries the punchline. 200 characters is exactly enough for “Half of 60. All of the frosting. Happy 30th.” More in the message ideas guide.
  • Name + number combos. Celebration Box lid says the name, the donuts say the number. Between them, the whole story’s told.

Number Donut Questions

Are these donuts shaped like numbers?

No — they’re regular full-size donuts arranged into the digit, the way number cakes tile smaller pieces. Every donut stays individually shareable, which is the point of donuts.

Can you pipe the number onto the donuts instead?

Where the custom name donuts add-on ($12) is live, digits work exactly like letters. Checkout shows what’s available for the recipient’s ZIP.

Do I get to see the layout before delivery?

No preview photos — the bakery builds it fresh on delivery morning. You do get a delivery confirmation, and if we ever leave a box in a safe spot, that comes with a photo.

How far ahead should I order?

Digit layouts are a confirmed request, so give us 48+ hours. For a milestone you saw coming a decade away, we humbly suggest not testing the 6pm cutoff.

Can I order number candles specifically?

The candle add-on is standard birthday candles today. Put “number candles if possible” in your notes — where a bakery can swap them, we’re happy to arrange it and confirm first.
